Comments: Just bought my first 13 ounce bag of hot chicken crack, and I will be deep frying done wings tonight. I'm hoping it's as good as it says. I mixed a little into my salmon patties and fried them earlier, I could taste the spice right off the first bite. I know these wings will be good already...
Comments: Gotta hand it to you. Your chicken crack is a supremely desirable option for frying chicken. I've used pan fried and deep fried and it just hangs in there and provides the most fantastic flavor to the chicken. I've used it on scallops and fish with splendid results. It makes a batter that sticks to the food, not the pan. Well, enough said, I'm hooked. Thanks ever so much. J. Bannister
Comments: This is the best coating I have ever had !! I am 64 yrs old and I love chicken, so you know that I have tasted a lot of chicken and your coating is the best hands down !!!!!!!!!!!
Making the perfect fried chicken is no easy task, honestly! Perfect coatings are hard to come by until now. Chicken Crack is a highly addictive chicken breading with ton's of great flavor that will have you wanting fried chicken all the time. There are so many ways to use this product it will boggle your mind. We still think that marinading your chicken in buttermilk is the best as it will really help Chicken Crack stick to your chicken. However, you can use a milk / egg wash, italian dressing soak or just plain old regular milk.
Perfect temps for frying chicken is between 325 and 350 prior to adding the chicken to the shortening or oil. Placing the chicken in oil before the oil reaches temp can cause greasy chicken. You may also par-fry your chicken till it reaches a light golden color and finish it in an oven. We have also made a thin batter type coating by adding water to Chicken Crack and then dipping the battered chicken in dry Chicken Crack with excellent results. |
